I'm the seventh worst, so at least when I get a crappy return I can always tell myself, "At least I did better than Brian would have done." Its not much, but it gets me through the day.
    WANTED - Solid-Boxed WGSH's, C.8 or better.

I don't sell much that isn't bought with the intention of flipping so it's pretty cheap when I lay out the money. I'll only pay full price for the stuff I'm keeping. I have all of the common figures but still need several big ones which are always in demand and go for high prices. I was actually the one sniped on the auction in question. I have a couple of maroon apes but wouldn't pass up a good deal. Thought it would have gone for much more than it did. If I thought I had an honest chance of winning with the bid I placed, I probably would have thrown a little more at it. Sorry. At least you would have made a couple more bucks.
It's not a doll it's an action figure.

If it makes you feel any better, my mom sold a lot of my mego and GIJoe stuff when I went away to college. It was 1986. She was having a garage sale. No, I never have let her hear the end of it. Thanks to this board, I have rebuilt the collection and started my kids on their own.

This used to be my ailment. Since I completed my heroes, I've slowed down a lot on Megos. I don't want to get rid of my heroes or Trek but the desire for new ones isn't what it used to be.

I seldom sell any Megos. If I want to get rid of anything, I'll trade it instead. It generally feels like I get a better value that way.

I have been really lucky with all my items ... but maybe it's becasue I'm cheap and have only so much funds to work with ... but I've always seem to at least break even with most stuff. Only times I lose money is on modern items I buy ... and then later sell.

Selling megos I've had fair luck ... but never any over the top money makers
