The Mego Black Knight Strikes!

Glad you all like it. I normally don't put effects on the figures, but this one really called for it. The castle of course is the castle from the monster cards that uses the Mego Museum as a base.

If there were captions for these cards, this one would end with "...and Hell followed with him".

I want to give a big shout out to Flynne for his help with the card backs. His expertise in all things Medeveil was really helpful. He provided text and pictures.

I can see the anticipation I had with this series will be more than satisfied. I really do think this may have been Mego's best line. Its not my favorite, but it really took their production level to its height.

The first time I saw this card I was in my cube at work, my response drew concern from the members of my team, who immediately came over to see if their boss was having a heart/panic/anxiety attack. I spent the next 30 minutes discussing with about a dozen people what Megos are and showing off the Musuem Galleries. It was the most fun I've ever had in this building.

Having been lucky enough to be privy to these cards I can tell you that this card set is, by far, the best set produced to date, and, given the exceptional qualities of its forerunners, that is really saying something. I cannot wait to get my grubby little hands on them. This card in particular makes the figure come alive with malice of intent, and, yes indeed, Hell follows with him.

My thanks to Brian and Scott for letting me help out in some minor ways. My love for and intrest in this set borders on the pathological. Also, I never get to use my Medieval History degree, or my Latin, Ancient Greek, and English Literature Minors as a code monkey at a Tax and Accounting Software firm, so this was a rare treat indeed.

Awesome card. The black knight or the look of him was adopted by the character of Mordrid in the tv miniseries "Merlin". I want one!!

that black knight seems like a real a**hole. first,honorble king arthur knights him, then bk fights off all his knights of the roundtable then sets fire to his castle. atlease that what the story would be if the cards went in order. like i said bk is a real jerk.
