Recommendations For Doll Stands

Lately when I come home from work I find that my Megos seem to be having grand battles while I am away. It seems that the Super Knights and Merry Men don't like each other and have fights to the death to honor the World's Greatest Super-Heroes who stand above them one shelf higher. I noticed last night that Captain Action jumped off his shelf to tackle Spy Suit Action Jackson. I guess it's a regular battle royale when I go 10-8.

In order to stop the carnage I decided that I should purchase doll stands for my Megos. I see Kaiser (sp.) stands on eBay. Are they any good? Does anyone have any doll stand recommendations?

I have been buying these small adjustable stands at Michaels Craft stores for $1.99 each. They don't fit tight around the figure which allows them to be removed easily.

Are they sturdy or easily knocked down?

Yes, similar stands like these are also availble at Hobby Lobby for around the same price. Yes, they are very sturdy and the base is wide enough so you don't have toppling issues. To be on the safe side however I would buy one and see how you like it before buying a boat load of them.

They have them exact same stands in some Wallmarts in the doll supply/craft section.

I use Kaisers and highly recommend them. They are reasonably priced (depending on the seller they work out to around $1.50-$2 each shipped but you have to buy at least a half dozen), they are sturdy, come in a size perfect for 8 inch Megos, and come in black, which I think looks much better for display compared to white stands.

I also use Kaisers # 2001 for 6.5 - 11 inch figures. They have a bit of a narrow waist, but hold the figures up really nicely. They also come in black (#2075 ?) . Dave Mc recommended these to me a while back and he was spot on.

I get them on e-bay for about $ 1.80 each shipped (but you have to buy 12). If you want to know the seller, send me PM, and I will dig it out for you.

Yep, that's the item number of the stands I have for my 8" figures. Kaiser's stands for 12" figures are also nice, I use those for my 12" Megos. They are really classy, especially in black, not cheap looking at all.

Black Rustoleum spray paint works well on white stands and the paint does not rub off on the figure

I have that stands from Hobby Lobby craft store. I bent the ring slight close, so the figures won't fall again.
