Mego of the Day is something no Fonzie doll should be without (but most are sadly) the Fonzie Motorcycle. Despite it's training wheels, the Fonzie Motorcycle brings back to a time when a leather jacket and a solid catchphrase could make you an overnight sensation.
Oddly enough, I didn't have Fonzie's cycle as a kid, but I did have his Jalopy, even though I knew it was really Ralph's (who I didn't have). My Fonzie borrowed Evel Kneivel's stunt cycle a lot.
I loved Fonzie back in the day, and I really liked the Mego commercial. I never really wanted the figure or the bike though.
"Do you believe, you believe in magic?
'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."
It would be a lot nicer-looking if it didn't have those stupid "training wheels" on it!
And would the Fonz really have a big sticker on the side of his bike that says 'FONZIE'?
