As a kid i never had a type2 BATMAN, I had a type1 RC BATMAN my buddy Steve got his Batman for christmas 74 and when he showed it to me i was shocked to see the cowl was painted on , It wasn't until recently i got a type2 Batman in my collection, But i still prefer the type1 RC better

First Mego as a kid and second as an adult. BEDROCK, BABY!!! The foundation of any collection.
      WANTED - Solid-Boxed WGSH's, C.8 or better.

Hall of Fame figure. If I was going to say I had a close personal relationship with a Mego (and that would be insane...clearly) it would be this one. A very friendly face that was with me a lot as a kid...

          YES!

My first Batman was a T1 but I bought or received as gifts, several more over the years and a T2 was given to me by Mom along with a new T2 Robin and the Batcycle one Xmas. My cousin got the Batmobile, a T2 Batman and Spidey the same year.

While I desperately wanted a RC Batman, my T2 Bats was a decent stand in. I have more Mego Batman figures than any other. 6 I think. 2 RCs plus others. A complete, original T1, a T2 with custom belt and Cape with the black added to his mask plus a couple with some repro parts.

I have one beside me now. He travels back and forth from room to room with me daily as a sort of mascot.

The be-all, end-all of Mego figures IMO.

I mentioned that a few weeks ago, and got funny responses.. When I'd go out of town for a few days for a military trip by myself, I usually had a Joe with me (back in the '90s..). Nothing wrong with that at all, especially driving 300-400 miles. Just kept him packed up when I'd get to where I'm going..

Totally Agreed, either him or Spiderman.

Count me among those with only the T1 RC Batman -
at least that's the only one I have memories of.
