This is one fo the rare foreign Megos I would love to own. I have no attachment to the character (other than the re-running of the original UltraMan series in the States), but this guy seems pretty cool.

Plus, we have the same boxers

It's interesting that this guy is so rare and desirable considering his appearance is pretty laughable if you don't know the character (like I don't). Even by some of Mego's cost-cutting standards that's a minimalist suit there. Other than the intricate heads and gloves it's very simple. But I'm sure it captures the character well, though.

I love MOTD. It's definitely reminding me of figures and lines I rarely tink of when I think Mego.

I have to admit that my Ultraman is incomplete, he's missing his chest piece. I love Ultraman to pieces and the way I got this figure was pure toy karma.

It was my birthday, I went downstairs to get a guest a beer and thought I'd check ebay. It came up with a buy it now and i jumped on it, probably the first person to see it. I came upstairs and my hands were shaking.

I loved Ultraman as a kid. I'd love to own one of these. Nice way to end the week.

That is known as the "Score Shakes". It's a medical term.

                      >his appearance is pretty laughable if you don't know the character

Most of the hardcore fans don't care for Leo so much. He kinda came in at the end of the original series' and by that point the show had been pretty kiddified. Maybe the simpler outfit on the figure is to make him more kid firendly?

Well, To be fair, Taro was the show that had turned off adult audiences, Leo was an improvement from that.

The simplier outfit is the result of me missing the chest piece.

Maybe the simplified uniform is what actually appeals to me, but I can't help it. I'd prefer an original Ultraman, but I like this guy.

I'd prefer an UltraSeven more, since he actually spent a fair amount of time human sized.
