Our Mego spotlight goes to Magnetic Superman, the interchangable figure that borrowed it's concept from the Micronauts. Mego Trivia: The US came close to having these, Mego pitched them hard and even created North American packaging for this figures which sold well in Italy.
I kind of remember these from back in the day, but not well. I didn't have any, I know that, still don't. I do think they are pretty cool though and find them interesting, I just haven't gone down that road.
This is something I would not want (back in the day).
If the magnetic arms and legs are like the Black Hole mag figures, it has absolutely no action figure play value whatsoever because they easily fall off.
Why would a anyone want a Superhero who's body parts come off anyway ?
These are a neat curiosity, but I doubt I will ever feel the need to own one. My son has the recent Spider-Man figure like this, and by itself, it's pretty unappealing. If he had a Hulk to mix and match with, that would be fun. Maybe Mego (or their foregin distributor) should have sold them in two-packs?
When I saw this title, I thought it was like the 12 in. Batman and Robin w/ fly away action.
