    Mike - I think you have hit the nail on the head. Maybe that is why I am warming to T1 Treks.

            No problem, and you are keeping the better one. I've always thought that the T2s look too "tan", the T1s look much more natural, and the painted lips of the first versions just add an extra little bit of dimension and detail. The only real downside of the T1 Treks is Kirk's near inability to sit in his captain's chair.
