Here is something you don't see everyday 7 boxed Johnie Jacksons

I just got these guys in the mail. Here's the story about where they were found. I'm going to be selling some of them in the marketplace.

Excellent, I'm glad they got to you safe and sound. I found them
here in London, last year I lived in Sevensisters, which is well
known for it's Jewish community. One afternoon a friend and I
noticed a small run down shop which you needed to ring a bell
to enter. We rang the bell and was greeted by a very old Jewish
man. Once inside the place was like stepping back in time, with
loads of random old things and stationary. At the back of the
shop I noticed the Johnny Jackson figures, which I noted down
and returned home to look online, thats when I found the Mego
website and thats when I went and bought the lot. Unfortunately
there was no shipping box and no other figures in the shop. But
it was a rare find as i'm sure he's just has them sat there since
the 70's. Any other questions feel free to ask,
    Cheers
    dan

I don't know how many are out there. Including these I've seen about 15 or so. Maybe someone more into Action Jackson would have the answer. I got them pretty cheap, but the shipping was murder. I waiting for the buyer to tell me what he paid.

The Museum say's ------- "In the UK, AJ became "Johnny Jackson" no doubt because the word Action was too closely identified with Palitoy's verions of G.I. Joe, "Action Man". Boxed outfits are relatively easy to find but it takes a little more work to find a boxed version of the man himself"

It sounds like they're not as rare as I thought.
Rare, yea ... but not crazy rare.

Those are cool, and a great find. Anything that old, still in the box, complete and in good condition is a great find. Well worth it. Congrats.

That must have confused a few kids back then. The picture shows him with a "JJ" symbol on and on the actual figure it shows a "AJ" logo.

Wow! good deal or not it's still very cool. It's one of those dreams we all still chase, going into an old shop after 30+++ years and finding dusty megos still on a shelf or peg. Glad it still might happen!

The guy I bought them from just told me he paid about $3 each for them. Pretty amazing.
