      Hi everyone.
In looking through boxes of stuff to sell I came across another part of my MEGO past. This part however is really the beginning.
I had forgotten after calling the MEGO offices about their POTA line I was told to send on pics of the stuff I had made. In my rummaging I came accross an envelope with the following....

Inside I found a carbon copy (yep, remember carbon?) of a note my mom had written for me to a Mr. Gonick at MEGO. Truthfully, I had forgotten about this. Finding it caused a flood of memories to return, and the order of events. This is a true treasure for me, personally, when I came accross this today, 3 days after the year anniversary of my mom's death.

Note: I don't know what the postal receipt was from, but it was in the envolope.

The envolope was actually for the packing slip seen below. Original & carbon (yes, carbon, again.)

Well, this was all a surprise finding this. I didn't even remember it or how it was seperated from my other MEGO archive stuff. I can only hope I run across more.

Wow - all I can say is thanks "Livingdead70" for wading through all this. Sorry, when I posted this the above I should have given a little back story for those like yourself.

In honor of all great things POTA shared over the years, I had to bring this epic thread back this morning… enjoy, again!

I did a wonderful phone interview with Scott that unfortunately got ruined (back when I used tapes), it's a shame because he was a never ending source of interesting annecdotes. He was in charge of production of DVD extras for companies like A&E and the info and stories in his head are amazing.

Wow. I can hardly believe it's been nearly eight years since this was originally posted. Definitely a thread worth bumping!

This was total time travel...so many banned or missing or deceased members...and what a difference in the friendliness of the museum. 10 years has not been kind...

I totally agree Bill. Ten years of removing racists, homophobes, rip-off artists, and pot stirrers has taken a small toll on Brian and me, but it's been worth it. Mego Museum is more friendly and inclusive than it's ever been and we aim to keep it that way.

If nobody stirs the pot stuff burns on the bottom.
