Forgive me for posting a non-MEGO item but I had to post this piece of POTA real estate. It's the first time its seen the light of day for over 25yrs but it still makes a great starter house. It's resides close to a Central City making it for shopping, political speeches, military marches/political demonstrations. ... and there's even an open air farmer's market.
The house is over 30yrs old, has its own floor (which wasn't installed in this pic) but is missing few things like POTA banners on the roof. In todays market the asking price is accommodating but remember it is a piece of history.

That's unbelievable! A cardboard playhouse and it's still in perfect condition! You are my hero.

Nice touch, pausing the shot on your flat screen. AND the T-shirt makes the picture complete!

Scott, your treasure trove continues to amaze. Thanks again for sharing all the stuff. And we get to see the face behind the Corneilus mask

That is just super-cool! I have a 1974 Montgomery Wards Christmas catalog, and I'm pretty sure that Ape house is in that. (we have that one in our MM Library too, don't we?) Yes, Virginia, Ape fan still exist, and Scott (Ditcin) is the leader of the pack!

Scott, are you sure you don't own a time machine?

I second the vote that you have a time machine. lol. How in the world is that house in that good of a condition? Scott, this has me wondering if you have any other memorabilia archived besides POTA or was this your one true love worth saving?

Cool, I would have loved one of those as a kid. I can't believe how good it still looks, considering it's age and what it's made out of.

My friends and family can't believe the stuff I've saved from when I was a kid, but you blow me out of the water.

I have nothing to show from my childhood except for a scar on my knee and a couple of chicken pox scars.

The house photographs better then it probably is. The color and overall condition is very good. There are however POTA signs missing that when on the thatched roof, and the tabs that hold it together are obviously folded. It's in good condition most do to how it was stored - in the origianl box it came in.
