What's the most you ever spent, buying a custom?

Curious, how much people have spent on custom figures, they've bought. How high would you go for a drop-dead gorgeous custom made mego?

    Hmmm,
The most i've ever spent on customs was on my McDunsels ....
My guess is roughly between 30 and 60 dollars apeice....

I'm not really into customs anymore, but at that time when I was heavily into them --- I probably would have dropped a C-note easy on a custom I wanted badly.

I have spent around 300.00, and would probably pay that again. I am not a wealthy person, but I will spend a little more for the right figure. It has to be tight and really grab me though to spend that kind of scratch.

I owned 25 Flatts at one time. Enough said there.

Besides the MM exclusives I only own 1 custom not made by me. It's a cute Zatanna I got from Dave Mc for around $50 I think. Derek has a killer JJJ I want to get and Ron did a sweet Apache Chief and Samurai for the custom auction at MM08 I wanted but they went higher than I could handle.

Yes, I as well ~ My Klingon custom outfit and Kirk's green shirt (the early bright green one..). The $40-$60 investment seemed like a lot initially, but they are simply awesome, now more so that I'm re-energized (no pun intended..) in Mego Trek collecting with the Diamond Captain's chair and Dida displays.

          The best awaits us all...

I spend a lot (of hours), but I make my own customs. I've never bought any before.

$100 or so is about the most I've spent on a single custom figure. $80-$100 seems a pretty average price for a nice mego-ish custom. There were times I was tempted to buy a custom from T3T or one of the other guys doing much more detailed work than a standard Mego custom, but I don't want to start that habit. However, I do think $300 plus is a totally reasonable price for some of the work some of these guys are turning out. Detail takes time and time is money!

I think $130 for the Silver Surfer I won at Mego Meet 2008, which was very much worth it!

I've never bought a custom. There are a lot I'd love to have. BK's recent Batman for instance. I need too many Mego items and try to focus more on that.

I did make and give one for Charlee Flatt once as a gift. I wonder if he still has it. Been a few years since I spoke to him.

The highest I paid for a custom is somewhere around $100, I think. Sometimes I'm tempted by ones that cost more, but I've managed to hold back on those for now. Not that they're not worth it, I'm just not willing to spend that much just yet
