    Hey,
While I have seen the figures loose probably 10 times up on Ebay in the last 10 years, this set is the only time I ever saw the whole thing complete. I picked it up for a song (considering the rarity) - it is one of my favorite pieces in my collection.

Come to think of it, Joe D's wrestler bodies would work about as well....

When I first saw the link here in the galleries section,I thought they were the twins from D.C.Cab.

I have the commercial on my Mego ads tape. I think these are smaller than 8" figures. I wonder how many kids got these things hopelessly caught in high trees?

I saw them for the first time in either Crouch's or Bonavita's book. I had the Adventur Team SkyHawk and this set was similar so no doubt I would have had it as a kid had I ever seen it. I think these guys are pretty cool. The bodies are more Superheroically proportioned than the WGSH so it might have been cool to make customs with them had more been made.

I think you are correct. I think it mentions 6" in the book. Also, the boots on these guys look an awful lot like Titans boots in white.

The galleries mention them as being 6" too. I never even heard of them until I read Bonavita's book. They are definitely right up there in Mego's most obscure figure lines. And yeah, they remind me of the strongmen on Family Guy too.

A member here picked up the blue one at a toy show in san jose some months back for a couple dollars. Pretty good show. I go every time they have it and theres always something rare you come across for next to nothing.

                              Since they're 6" I assume they don't have a Hulk body?

I never heard or knew about these guys until a couple years after I started collecting Mego. I think Megocon was my first exposure to them. I remember wondering what they were doing in the Mego display since they obviously couldn't be Mego.
