Lego Marvel Super Heroes is an upcoming 2013 action-adventure video game currently being developed by TT Games, for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U, Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation Vita and Microsoft Windows. The game will feature gameplay similar to other Lego titles, such as Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga and Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes, alternating between various action-adventure sequences and puzzle-solving scenarios.

The game features an original storyline which will revolve around Nick Fury calling upon various superheroes from the Marvel Comics universe to save the Earth from threats. It will allow players to unlock more than 100 characters. Several characters are based on their appearance in The Avengers film as well as the Ultimate Spider-Man animated series. It has been confirmed that Galactus will be the main antagonist in the game. According to game director, Arthur Parsons and producer, Phil Ring one of the main settings of Lego Marvel Super Heroes is a Lego version of New York City. The creative team is interested in including Marvel co-creator Stan Lee as a cameo in some form in the game, but right now they are unsure of how to do it.

            Playable characters include:
Black Widow, Captain America, Deadpool, Galactus, Hawkeye, Hulk, Iron Man, Loki, Magneto, Spider-Man, Thor, Tony Stark, and Wolverine.

              Plot
The game begins when the Silver Surfer, herald to Galactus, is knocked out of the sky, with his surfboard shattering into several 'Cosmic Bricks' that fall onto Earth. With these blocks containing immense power, Nick Fury calls upon the heroes of the Marvel universe to retrieve these blocks before they fall into the wrong hands.

Sweet. The Lego game world is getting better and better. Has anyone tried Lego City Undercover for the WiiU? It is a total roller coaster ride. There are more tasks and side adventures than any Lego game before.

Has anyone picked this up yet?

My son is dying for it but I've told him that Santa will bring it. What was Santa thinking?

My son has birthday money burning a hole in his pocket, so this will probably be bought BEFORE Christmas.

I don't play video games anymore but I finally caught some of the Marvel Super Heroes: Maximum Overload shorts on Disney XD. Fun little shorts that gave me some laugh-out-loud moments.

Yeah, those are pretty funny. The one where Loki messes with the Mandarin when he's attacking Stark's Mansion was priceless. And the Chitauri soldier can't do anything right.

My son received this game on PS3 for Christmas, and he and my daughter have been wearing it out. I've played a bit too, and it's a lot of fun. I hate to say it, but it's a lot more fun than Lego Batman 2.
