CGI vignettes --- question for everybody who loves video games

I've oftened wondered this but keep forgetting to ask --- until now

99% of video game commercials never show the actual game --- they just show the cool CGI "movies" inbetween games ----- although, they seems to be saying these CGI vignettes ARE the game itself.

My question is, why don't these companys get sued for false advertising ? .... or am I the only one who gets mad when they do this ?
