I have sworn, in front of friends and family, that should I ever meet Chirs Rock or Jon Stewart or any of the other celebrites involved in that cinematic abomination, that I will immediately ask them to repay me the $30 I spent taking my kids to "Doogal". Amd if they have an ounce of integrity, they'd shrug and produce a wallet with my cash. If the kids had said anything during the movie about how much they weren't liking it, too, it would have been the first movie I ever walked out on and demaded my money back for. I'm disappointed every time it pops up on TV because TiVo won't let me give it more than three thumbs down.

I finally Made it out ...., Took the Boy, and Baby Doll to Her very 1st Movie Theater Expirence.
She didn't do bad , not knowing anything about the Theater..., But She didn't in No Way really ike the Movie, Like She's Already seen Brave 20 times , since We got it for her last week. lol .

    I liked the Movie.
All the Nods, and Movement of the Characters was well done, and the did some homework Here. It was a Fun Movie. Although I liked the character Jane Lynch was ...., I really can not Stand that Woman , and don't understand the Appeal and Hype...., I wish she would just go away. I also didn't understand the Allure with Paperman, And think the Short Toons are becoming Over Rated.

My wife gets all the stinkers, whenever I go with the kids, I mainly luck out. The exception being "Mysterious Island" this past spring, I've had better dental appointments.

^I'd say I liked it better than some Pixar efforts, Ratatoulie and Wall-E come to mind. I liked both, but after watching Wall-E once, I just don't desire to really sit through it again. A bit too dismal for animated rewatching fare.

It's just me but I enjoyed it more than Cars or Finding Nemo. It's most likely due to my adoration of the voice cast for this.

I also rate these movies based on how many times I look at the ceiling and think "END!".

It was smart and clever but not amazing.

I am glad I saw it, but "paper man" was loads better.

I haven't really seen half of the Pixar Flicks to be honest....
But the 1's I have seen, I really didn't care for Wallie. I felt the Over all Hidden Message and Direction was a Complete bore Fest.

I've not seen Cars 2. The commercials for the movie seemed to deviate so much from the original story, which I really enjoyed, that I didn't bother to see it. Tangled was fun. And the Paper Man was a cool short.

^True, but I'd put it above Cars 2. That's Pixar's only true misfire, to my mind.

Of Disney's own CGI-movies, I do think I liked Tangled better, overall.

I'm not really a big video game guy, but this tapped into time when arcades were the primary place to play video games, which was nostalgic. The movie's fun and well made and has winning voice performances, but it falls short of Pixar quality in my estimation, but then again most animated and live action efforts do. It's good but not special.

I'm probably giving this one a try. Like the concept. I'm really not a fan of 3d animation though. I prefer traditional.
Going by your avatar, I think you'll like it.

And for those who aren't big video game people, the video game cameos aren't as prevalent as you would think. You pretty much see all of them in the trailers. It's not like Roger Rabbit.

Saw it today with wife, my two kids, and 3 of my sons friends for his birthday. Theater was packed, and the movie was fun, sweet (but not TOO sweet to turn off boys), and surprisingly original. I liked Hotel Transylvania, but I have to say this was the better film. The short "Paper Man" that played in front of it, was really cute.
