Doctor Who Confidential & DW score

I just chased down the Confidential for the finale and I don't know why Sci-Fi doesn't air these. They are great. What I also noticed is the placement of pop music in the confidential spots. They play really cool music over choice clips from the show but in the actual show they don't use any pop songs. I love the new orchestra score for DW but perhaps using pop songs in the right places would be great too! I mean the clip of the Doctor lweaving Donna's house at the end, the music they used made it felt like a really dramatic moment. I thought it was comparable to a John Hughes film from the 80's. It was really cool.

I don't really like pop music in Doctor Who .....
    It makes it too Baywatch-ie

The Master song imo was horrible.
Loved the song, just didn't think a music video belonged in DW.

One exception ..... I did like Tainted Love in The End of the World.
For some reason it gave the scene an eerie feel.

The confidentials are good...but they were even better during the first revamp season as they delved more into the past of the show rather than some of the "look how good we are" confidentials of the past couple of seasons...there was also a great one hosted by Tennant where he , Steven moffat and RTD sat down and discussed why they loved Who.
ENGLISH AND DAMN PROUD OF IT British by birth....English by the grace of God. Yes Jamie...it is big isn't it....
