Burton to direct "Alice in Wonderland"

Now I'm not a Fan of Tim Burton(I'll never forgive Him for Batman)...but there are some things He does well(like Sleepy Hollow). So....I think "Alice in Wonderland" is right up His alley...because F*d up Stuff like this...is His Bag Baby!

I'm sure Johnny Depp will be the Mad Hatter since he seems to find his way into just about every one of Tim Burton's movies.

I wonder if Danny Elfman will also compose the score as well.

I've always enjoy directors who hire the same cast for their projects. It's like and old fashioned actors troupe.

Burton is a good choice for this. As Dane said, it's "weird" and Burton does weird well.

Gee, I wonder if Alice will have had a miserable childhood and feel all alone and alienated from others. I can't ****ing stand Tim Burton.
Of all the souls I have encountered his was the most...human.

I dig the troupe style as well.

I really hope Alice is good.

I also like how some directors use avatars for themselves in film. When they really wanna be the star, but have the director talents...and director looks.

Tim Burton (w/ his lovely girlfriend, Helena Bonham Carter) always pic Johnny Depp. Robert Redford, as an older man, gets Brad Pitt, Speilberg and Hanks, Scorsesi and his troupe of badboys.

I also really like what Christopher Guest has done over the past 10 years with his troupe. I bet they could make a great awkward and disturing version of Alice.

I think the fault goes to the Executives and Producers for giving him something he clearly had no reason to do.....Other than that he's a fine film maker....
