Zach Snyder really knows how to make something visually exciting; just hope the story makes sense.Places to find PlaidStallions online: https://linktr.ee/Plaidstallions

It's an original story created by Snyder. It started out as an idea for a Star Wars movie which Snyder pitched to Lucasfilm, but it was later redeveloped and eventually became Rebel Moon.

Uhhh... that was every modern movie and cable/streaming tv show made in the last decade or so condensed to 2 minutes and 42 seconds! (No judgement, bound to be a little something for everyone in there.)
Just curious how they get away with using those... oh, let's call them "sight labers"!

Part two wraps up the story adequately enough. Some insight into the characters and their backstories, and of course a suitably epic final battle.PUNY HUMANS!Comment

watched it last night. i liked it. lot's of action and mayhem and sets the stage for part 3, if it gets made.Comment

they aren't really light sabers. they are real blades that then coat in energy so they cut through anything. small spoiler, but one of the characters seems to actually get shocked when picking one up

Boyfriend & I finally watched pt 2 tonight and it was good. We bought the last bag of Rebel Moon popcorn at Walmart just to eat it with the movie.

Thanks for the backstory! More imaginative than the laser sword appearances it immediately reminded me of, which were in StarCrash and the Italian "Al Bradly" series of space films of the late '70's!
I love it when "lightsaber-alikes" show up in other movies! Just thought it was interesting that he retained that element of Star Wars when this story was rejected as a Star Wars project. Fair play, though. Much of Star Wars was borrowed from other works, too!Comment
