Capricorn 1...Better Than I Remember

Just watched Capricorn 1 on Comet. I saw it as a kid and I thought it was dull as hell. Really interesting now.

I also spotted this late last night on Comet.. had never seen it before. Held my interest for almost an hour before I nodded off. Now I have to look up how it ended

I don't think it damaged the case for space exploration so much as it demonstrated how far it's value had fallen already to most people. This move was post Apollo and pre shuttle and just about the same time Skylab fell to Earth.
