To be honest, I think some Mego fans might be getting a little fed up with us moaning about what kind of underpants the new Doc should be wearing.

But then again: what kind of underpants should he be wearing, my fellow Whovians?

By the way: didn't you just love it when the Daleks go to Germany, and start speaking German? Exterminieren!!!!

German Daleks. It just doesn't get any better....

The German Daleks did give me a thought ......

Which "race" is more nazi-ish ?

          Daleks or Cybermen ?

I would say Daleks because they just want to kill everything that isn't them.
Cybermen want to -- and pardon my Borg reference, Cybermen was to assimilate everyone

Daleks....this was reinforced in "Genesis" and "Remembrance" with their quest for a pure race.....Terry nation based the Daleks on a faceless enemy akin to the experiences he had living through the blitz....he has gone on record many times saying the nazis were the inspiration behind the daleks.
The cybermen believe it or not originally replaced their human parts to extend their lives and became obsessed with doing the same for all humans....have yet to see non human cybermen...they see themselves as benifactors of human kind evolving the race to the next "upgrade".

What story was the Cybermen's origins explained in ?
Was it the Tenth Planet ? (which I never seen)

Also, I think I heard there was an alternate Cybermen origin story.
                Is that true ?

The only Cybermen stories I ever seen were .....
                Tomb of the Cybermen
                The Invasion
                Revenge of the Cybermen
                The Five Doctors
                Earthshock
                Silver Nemesis

The Tenth Planet explained a lot of their origins...there was also a comic version called "The World Shapers" by Grant morrison and John Ridgeway where the 6th Doctor and Jamie finally go to planet 14 as mentioned in Tomb of the Cybermen....it's a good comic and has recently been reprinted in the tpbs...
I think the origins were recapped in attack of the cybermen too...seeing as it's tied in with both Tenth Planet and Tomb .

I'm sure the Dr. had question marks on his underwear when JNT was Producer. I plan on having question marks put on mine to show everyone I'm a Who fan.

I think the doctors underwear is made from a similar material to "Memory paper". What ever you expect to see thats what he's wearing. If you a boxer appreciating female companion then thats what he has. If you a fur thong loving member of the Sever team that is what he has. If your a 1800s mining town female companion just picked up he's wearing long red longjohns with a flap in the bottom.

Lo there do I see the line of my people back to the begining.
                          Lo they do call me.
They bid me take my place among them.
