Hey Rik, what region DVD's ya got in Belkiumland? I know we are region 4 Pal, and that the UK is the same as us (Although uncertain if they have Reg 4 or another number - but work the same and same TV system).

And I haven't watched the 5 doctors since it was first on out here in OZ, but from your list Mike, wasn't Tom Baker in it??? And they had another actor stand in for the deceased Hartnell as well didn't they?

In the Five Doctors .... William Hartnell (Doctor number 1) was long dead, so they used another actor to portray him .. It was a sizable role, so he's always officially counted as Doctor number 1.

Tom Baker only appeared in The 5 Doctors for a brief few seconds ..... These few seconds were lifted from unused footage from his old Doctor days ... so most people count him not in it.... Because his appearance really isn't legit.

It was an actor called Richard Hurndell who died in 1984...I thought he played the part very well myself..capyuring most of Hartnell's mannerisms.

Uk and Europe have region 2 dvd discs....never had a problem playing region 4 on any player i've owned....In fact the first overseas disc I got was the Australian region 4 version of the 2 Peter Cushion Dalek movies as it had better extras and commentries than the UK edition.

Yeah, we're region 2.
