Whats your Favorite Giant Bug Movie?

All right its been a while since I came up with a new topic And I'm all Doctor Who'd out so....... What is your favorite giant bug movie?

Mine has to be that classic "Them". You just can't beat them big ants

One of the best part of the movie was that creepy chirpping sound effect. I dont care who you are if you heard that youd be giving worried glances over your shoulder, even though you know theres no such thing.

So what does it for you. Giant spiders, Mantises, Scorpions, Lady bugs?
Lo there do I see my Father.
Lo there do I see my Mother and my Sisters and my Brothers.
Lo there do I see the line of my people back to the begining.
    Lo they do call me.
They bid me take my place among them.
In the halls of Valhalla where the brave may live forever.

Them is my favorite by far. Great movie.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

THEM! folllowed by Mysterious Island. My favorite crap one is The Beginning of the End, especially thru the MST filter.

OK 5 for the Big ants and 2 for alien bugs. Boy no takers for the giant spiders. Giant Tarantula movies abound in the 60s. The deadly mantis... zippo

Anyone remeber the movie with the giant grasshoppers? Classic special effects.... climbing on a picture of a building

What about Empire of the ants? Ya think they could take on THEM?

And what NO mention of Godzillas, Spigra or those giant mantises....er....manti?

Surly there are bug movies I'm missing too.

If you're into ants, try Phase IV (from 1974 I think).
Real ants, scary as hell. OK, they're not giant beasties, but it's quite effective.

Or did anyone see "Night of the lepus"? With giant rabbits? That was really...awful...

And the scariest bug of all? Hugh Grant. Yeah, he freaks me out...

What about Empire of the Ants with Joan Collins,it wasn't a great movie

I liked Starship Troopers, loads of bug blasting, the old Godzilla flicks were great too, even Mothra grew on me in the end.
