    Battlestar Galactica season finale...MASSIVE SPOILERS!!!

Wow...the Colonists and Cylon rebels make up (after revealing four of the last five Cylons), arrive at Earth...and find out the planet has been devastated by a nuclear holocaust...WOW!!!

I love all this gloominess and bleakness, lol.

Question...Where and who is the fifth member of the final five???

I can't wait until 2009 to see how the next 10 installments wraps up.

    Motherfrackers!

    I LOVE THIS SHOW!!!

I was totally expecting to see the ruined Statue of Liberty at the end of that pan....

I love the show, but it seemed a little abrupt to me---what all of the sudden we're at Earth? But that twist at the end gives the final 11 episodes (they annonced the Final episode gets an extra hour!) some interest. Are the colonial and cylons going to restart civilization together?

Deanna said the 5th cylon wasn't in the fleet, right?

Are the rest of the cylons dead or this is just the rebels?

I wonder if this is actually Earth. I thought that when I saw the ruins. Maybe this is another planet along the lines of Kobol or the algae planet. They were there but then moved on.

These are the Cylon rebels...the main Cylon fleet is still out there (and really angry).

I think it would have been a bit silly finding the Statue of Liberty (a la Planet of the Apes)...imagine traveling millions of light years to land right smack in New York of all places...why not Istanbul or something like that?

Yeah, it's always New York, ain't it?

I was kidding about the Statue, but that last shot was very POTA...

I think they were kinda giving an ending of sorts because they weren't sure they'd get the go ahead for the next episodes....sort off hedging their bets I suppose

No, the other ten episodes were already planned...the writer's strike placed a hold on them...they will air in January of next year.

Yeah I know but at the time of writing they weren't sure they were gonna get the 10 more eps so decided to have at least some sort of Finale..so to speak

This breaking the season in half and showing the other half a year later is really getting old.

I think finding a devastated Earth is too easy and probably a cost cutting move knowing the SciFi channel. They are heading down the road I heard about a year ago and I really hope Ron doesn't go that route.

I heard the last half will air in March of 2009. Sheesh, that's a long way off. Ratings for this season have been very poor.

I've watched it regularly since the beginning, but I repeatedly forgot about it this season. I admire the show and have liked many eps, but it's never really worked its way under my skin. Too dreary and plodding, and other than Adama, I've never really developed a fondness for any of the characters.

                      1st season loved it
                      2nd season very good
3rd what the frack, too many weird twists.

I'll watch them all, but I don't know if it will end well.

It is a great show. In the beginning, I had my girlfriend tape for me each week because I don't have cable. Heck since moving back to my home state 13 years ago, I only had cable for 5 month. To much money for the few channels, I would want to see. My TVs are hooked up to a VCR or DVD player. After the first half of season two, I found it easier to wait for it to come out on DVD. They are up to season 3 now Plus Razor. The rest will come.
