Seen TIMELASH for the first time

Last night I watched Doctor Who's TIMELASH for the first time ever.

I was very surprised and happy, I liked it.

A lot of Colin's stories are hard to follow (including a little bit of TIMELASH), but it was very watchable and enjoying.

Not wanting to spoil it in advance, I didn't read up on the story ahead of time.

The ending, where they said who Herbert really was big time surprised me

I never put 2 and 2 together before that

    TIMELASH --- surpriisingly, pretty good

I didn't think that it was as bad as some people said it was.

I love Colin's story of how Paul Darrow kept trying to out act him and play his character as Richard the third.

It's not so much the story with Timelash as the actual lack of money spent on it...the actual Timelash looks awful and a lot of fans were getting peed off with the whole "main protagonist falls in love with Peri" concept.

After I watched it, I did some internet researching on it...

I can't see why everyone is always up-in-arms about the bad SFX (tinsel etc.)

Doctor Who ALWAYS had bad effects --- all the way up to the McCoy years.

Yes thats true, but the actual physical effect for it was REALLY,REALLY bad...I mean...tinsel and a few painted eggboxes....what makes it worse was the complete pantomime reaction to it from the cast....reminiscant of the infamous "No...not the mind probe" from the 5 doctors.

I loved seeing the Pertwee painting.

I read on the net that painting was painted by an American Doctor Who fan.

Where do you find these Dr. Who DVDs? I need to study up so I can be a better geek.
