I bought it at a Doctor Who convention (the same convention I met Colin)

I forgot what the kit's actual name was, but it was put out by The Doctor Who Fan-Club of America.

They didn't have the rights to use the name Doctor Who or TARDIS, so the kit was called-- I think, English Police Call Box.

It was a straight forward kit, but I took my time because I wanted it perfect.

I still remember the colour I chose to spraypaint it was harbour-blue
I bought one of those kits on Ebay a couple of years ago but there were no instructions and i couldn't figure out which bits of wood went where, so i sold it.

        Was it sealed, Ian ?

My kit came sealed in cellophane wrapping and had an instruction sheet.

It was very easy to follow too.

Also, my kit came with decals (seen in my my photos)

I assembled the whole thing using just Elmers white school glue.

The one thing that really bugged me .......
It came with TWO door handles ......
Being a Who fan at the time, but not knowing all that much about the TARDIS, I thought they gave 2 handles by mistake.
(it never mentioned in the instructions the second handle was for the phone door)
So I just chucked the second handle.
Years later, I finally realized what it was for.

Here's another shot of my TARDIS

I think it had been opened at some point.
Everything else was there but no instructions or diagrams
