Well, at least it's not as bad as the plastic water bottle and the Starbucks cup in Game of Thrones. -
Star Wars fans continue to be the Florida man of the hobby. At most you should get a chuckle out of something like that, move on and forget about it.Leave a comment:

Really liked Chapter 5.
Nice to see some very familiar locales.

Well we got back yesterday from Disneyworld and no "baby Yoda" toys were found. They have a lot of Yoda toys, but I think they were holding off on the release of the toys due to not wanting to spoil the big reveal. I did see a Mandalorian AT-ST walker 3 3/4" scale there that was pretty cool.
We were there this past week and the entire Galaxy's Edge land is quite awesome! It's rather overwhelming seeing a life size Millennium Falcon right in front of you I must say. The Smuggler's Run ride, where you fly the Falcon had quite a line to get on it, no Fastpasses are giving out for it yet. Very fun ride, it holds 6 people and that's how many we had so that worked out well. The rest of the new land was very detailed. We unfortunately missed the opening of the Rise of the Resistance ride by about a week (opens next week, and that's rumored to be a 15+ minute ride, so that should be cool.Leave a comment:

Yeah, Seven Samurai of course...but wanted to make the Western connection...because it ties with High Noon better, ha...Leave a comment:

It'a fitting that this episode of The Mandolarian homages Kurosawa's Seven Samurai, as his Hidden Fortress was a big influence on George Lucas in the first film.

Definitely a Western vibe...Episode 3 was High Noon. Episode 4 was The Magnificent Seven.Leave a comment:

Chapter 4 was awesome. A familiar story premise given the SW treatment.
This show continues to impress.Leave a comment:

I'm also LOVIN' The Mandalorian!!
We finally have some Star Wars stories, that isn't trying to cram some SJW agenda down our throats. Just some good old Si-Fi action & adventure! YAY!!

I friggin love The Mandalorian.
The prequels, the new Abraham flicks...Rogue, Solo...none made me feel like a kid longing for nostalgia...they never took me back in time.
The Mandalorian did. I feel like a young teen again.

I'm very thankful for the new series.
I'm happy to see that so many viewers love The Mandalorian!
And the toys for the show look really, really cool.
It also makes me glad that I bought the 30th Anniversary Boba Fett figure from the animated portion of the Star Wars Christmas Special.
I had him standing on the peg by the elevator of my Death Star, in the control level leading to the Trash Compactor.
With the new series, I now know a little more about his equipment.Leave a comment:
