He's growing on me...it took a while to separate him in my mind
        from Worzel to Doctor Who....
I like the English Gent way he plays the Doc.

Here in the States, the difference between Worzel and Doctor Who is very easy ......

For one, we never had the pleasure of seeing Worzel (it was never shown in the States).

Most US peeps know Jon only as Doctor Who ......

Jon was also the first Doctor broadcast here ......

To me, along with many other DW fans (from the US) from way back, Pertwee will always be the FIRST Doctor

I was allowed to watch Worzel Gummidge
as a child...but not allowed to watch Doctor Who...well at least I
                can watch them now.

The only thing that bugged me about Inferno was Pertwee REMOVING his TARDIS console and keeping it in that barn

How did he take it out ? ... and how does it still work ?

You know, with all these companions who are apparently destined to die (soon or in the distant future), I wouldn't want to be one.
Is it necessary for people to die just to make the series more "serious" "mature" "important"??

This may seem a bit "soft" on my side, but once you've lost people in real life, I don't always need my "make-believe" TV and movie companions to die, too.

I just have the feeling that they're overdoing it a bit...

That was a superb second part to the story which wrapped it up quite nicely. It's nice to see a bit more imagination going into the odd story.
