      That was kinda cool. I remember when I was living in NYC and Star Trek and Space 1999 came on back to back on Ch. 11 on Sunday evenings.

          The ITC opening at the beginning ....
          Whenever I hear and see that opening, I always think of 1999.

          I wonder, was that ITC opening only on the American release ?
          It's nowhere on the DVD's --- and I miss it.

                              When I lived in Philadelphia we got WPIX on our cable. I watched it as well.
