Just wondering which of the Doctor Who Mega Sets is the better one to get;the one that came out in 2005 or the one that is coming out in June?

If I had the money I'd buy all of them"I've just bought a house. It's got a Buck Rogers Toilet. One yank, all gone!" -
I'd wait for the Classic's set.
Should be out any day now...

Classics all the way!Soo many interesting aliens and robots. Soooo many more that could be made.
I really want that Zygon.Lo there do I see my Father.
Lo there do I see my Mother and my Sisters and my Brothers.
Lo there do I see the line of my people back to the begining.
Lo they do call me.
They bid me take my place among them.

LOL.......which dvd mega sets are you talking about jwyblejr....for the new series the collected are always better than the "vanilla2 editions as there are loads of extras on them....for the classic series ...if you have'nt bought the individual stories then the box sets work out cheaper and sets such as the Davros box set have loads of bonuses (10 audio davros stories and enhanced "Remembrance") but the stories can be bought seperately. "Beneath the Surface", "New Beginings", "The Begining","Key to Time","Lost in Time", "K-9 Tales","Timeflight/Arc of Infinity" are the only way to buy certain stories.....of course this may all be twaddle as the release system for the States is proberly completly different..lolENGLISH AND DAMN PROUD OF ITBritish by birth....English by the grace of God.
Yes Jamie...it is big isn't it....

An Unearthly Child

I, personally would not take a chance buying it ......
Walmart gives no info as to what's in it ...
Walmart.com: Doctor Who: Mega Set Vol. 1: DVD Store
I just looked on Amazon.
The only info they give is it's 27 discs -- but no titles.
For 400+ bucks, they're going to get very few people buying this unless they at least tell you what you are buying.
I'd pass --- for nowComment

Website TVshows on DVD also haven't gotten an updated list of what's included. just the same basic posting of 27 disc's with no details and again say it's supposed to be released today. i wish hey would say as i need to catch up on my us releases. ive had a bad couple of years lately."Hang on Lady... We go for a RIDE!" - Shorty to Willie Scott.Best movie line from Indiana Jones & the Temple Of DoomComment

Why, oh why, have we never had decent Doctor action figures (8 to 12")?
Is it too much to ask?
They made figures of just about everything else, including that once-seen Juddoon.
I want 12" figures of all Doctors, and I want them now!.
