Reccomend a GOOD book??

Incompetance or Fat by Rob Grant (half of the Red Dwarf creator/writing team)...both extreamly funny books with the immediate future in mind

These are some of my favorites as well. If you haven't already, you should read some of each author's earlier works. Moore in particular is a long-time favorite of mine, and his Practical Demon-Keeping, Coyote Blue, and Island of the Sequined Love Nuns ranks among my all-time best. As far as Gaiman goes, Neverwhere is an amazing book.

My favorite book EVER is Replay by Ken Grimwood. Published in 1986, I believe, it's still in print and has sold millions of copies, though it still seems to fly mostly under the radar.

Another good author is Christopher Golden. The Boys are Back in Town is my favorite among a long list of good books.

There are many more I could recommend, but gotta get back to work!

Hmmmm....

Terry Pratchett: Jingo or Feat of Clay. They're part of the Discworld series but that doesn't really matter. They're episodic. Jingo is one of the most brilliant things I have ever read. AND it's funny.

I am dieing for a good, solid, meaty science fiction/fantasy book. Anyone have any reccomendations? I can't seem to find anything... No serialized novels (who, trek, SW) but an original weighty tome. Anything spring to mind?
My last, most loved books:
