Just started on episode one last night. As has been stated, the whole family enjoyed it, and that's hard to do. Good cast, good effects, reminds me of the beginning of the original but doesn't get goofy. I even like the new robot, which is so different from the original. I'm really looking forward to watching the rest of the season. -
I've really enjoyed this version of LIS, too! I've watched 9 out of 10 and will get to the final episode this weekend. One of the things that I really like is that this version hasn't felt the need to make little "in jokes" about the original version. Maybe the chicken being called Debbie, but that seems to be it.Leave a comment:

I finished all 10 episodes. I enjoyed the heck outta this show. I loved every single main character. The Robinsons were great...and especially pleasantly surprised at the child actor playing Will, a worthy successor to Bill Mumy...and a million times better than that kid from the theatrical movie. The Don West actor turned out to be a fun character who provided both bravery and humor, he was definitely molded from Han Solo more than the original Don West. The Robot was baddarze. And last, but not least, Parker Posey brought it, she was pure evil awesomeness.
This was an expensive series to produce. Hopefully Netflix green lights a second season.Last edited by Hector; Apr 15, '18, 3:03 PM.Leave a comment:

I'm enjoying the show, wish it went beyond 10 episodes, Hopefully it gets picked up for a longer showing next year!Leave a comment:

love how they utilize season 2-3 John Williams theme music. It’s played at the end of the opening credits. It’s also used throughout the show. In episode three, when the Jupiter 2 escapes and punches through the giant ice glaciers...the theme music triumphantly starts...that was such a goosebump moment. I kept replaying that scene over and over again, lol.Leave a comment:

I prefer the latter myself. Maybe that's why I've always liked Dune.Leave a comment:

Bill Mumy's cameo is really clever when you think about it. Also notice the space station commander's familiar uniform and a certain last name.Leave a comment:

I'm hoping to start in on it tonight when I get off work. I've heard Parker Posey really kills it as Dr. Smith, so looking forward to that, too...Leave a comment:

Rotten Tomatoes isn't anything that I even look at anymore.
3 shows in, lots to like, really adheres to the first season which was very adventure/disaster based. Like the new family dynamic, the Robinsons feel real.
The whole family is hooked.Leave a comment:
