Last Jedi is great. But don't take my word for it, and don't believe what you read on the internet. Watch with an open mind and then make up your own mind.

Last Jedi dead last after your dressing up in a judo costume experience? Ouch, lol...

I have not seen it yet, but will be renting it from Redbox when it comes out soon.

But worse than those awful prequels?

    1. A NEW HOPE
Seeing our greatest SW heroes meet up & arch concluding w/Solo's surprise return , Tarkin as baddie and R2-D2/C-3PO's finest moments together are among the top reasons this is my all-time fave movie.
    2. EMPIRE STRIKES BACK
This movie is crammed full of classic moments equal to the original... but it ain't the original! I love that Vader doesn't kill all his officers because he's simply an evil jerk... he kills 'em off to inspire his officers to find his son ASAP!!! Lando's surprise betrayal blew me away as a kid, and is still my favorite part of the movie... HAN SHOOTS FIRST (at Vader)!
    3. RETURN OF THE JEDI
Jabba... the Emperor... Luke reconciles w/Vader (after throttling him good for threatening his sister)... all awesome! The rest was cool... but the Ewoks... I mean: The cracks... were starting to show.
    4. FORCE AWAKENS
Lotta questions contained...but a clean powerfully invigorating start! Ford ruled in this! Although Vader is better at being a scary villain, Kylo Ren's "man-child as bad-guy" approach draws me in much more.
    5. LAST JEDI
Questions answered well enough... but some sub-plots were shaky to bloated.... LOVED LUKE SKYWALKER IN THIS (Hamill himself can suck an egg for his early negative comments).
    6. ROGUE ONE
Total fan-service... and I'm totally cool with it. Plus: Tarkin's BACK, baby! Screw the Vader rampage... I'll take a slimy "Tarkin nails Krennic" moment (or three), please!
    7. REVENGE OF THE SITH
Meh... but it has those classic Emperor/Vader creation moments.
    8. PHANTOM MENACE
Meh... but it has some great Palpatine in it (Maul being an extension of that).
    9. ATTACK OF THE CLONES
Wow.... just wow.... a rainy Jedi vs. Fett Sr. battle does not a movie make.

Star Wars (There have been times in my life (couch, cough after Phantom Menace, cough) where I have considered this as the ONLY Star Wars movie
Empire (Even though I spent the interim years thinking Darth Vader lied)
Return of the Jedi (Gotta complete the trilogy)
Force Awakens (Hit the points I needed to wash the prequel taste out of my mouth)
Rogue One (The Second half as a movie would rank MUCH higher for me, but...)
    Last JediRevenge of the Sith
    Attack of the Clones
    Phantom Menace

    Popular answer, I know, but...

    A New Hope
    The Empire Strikes Back
    and, by necessity,
    The Return of the Jedi
It practically goes without saying that, for modern viewing, I'm talking about Harmy's hard work.

Juggle the newbies how you like, but I think The Last Jedi is the most solid of the bunch and Rogue One is a maddening mess of butchered potential. Abrams did okay, but the real coup was in the casting.

    THE END!

    1) Star Wars (1977)
    2) The Empire Strikes Back (1980) (sometimes was #1, but now #2 for sure)
    3) The Return of the Jedi (1983)
    4) Revenge of the Sith
    5) The Last Jedi
    6) Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (the Zed-PM of Star Wars)
    7) The Phantom Menace
    8) Attack of the Clones
    9) The Force Awakens
    10) The Clones Wars (2008)

I want to add Solo: A Star Wars Story to my list in May!!!

Have not seen Last Jedi yet...will catch it on Redbox...I’m sort of burnt out on Star Wars at the moment.

The prequels don’t exist to me...hate them...will never ever watch them ever again....except for the Darth Maul duel scene on youtube...but that’s it...

Many put Empire at number 1

I love Empire and give it a 10 out of 10.

I think because of how visually spectacular it is and the fast pacing as well as a great script many put it above Star Wars. I agree with that and that entertainment wise, it is on par with Star Wars. I still ranks SW 1st because it embodies a young man's yearning for adventure -and without Star Wars, there is no Empire, so Empire owes number one for that reason alone.
