I was never a big fan of Empire.

To me it seems kind of like the prequels (kinda slow and boring)

With threads running on Last Jedi and Prequels I compiled my list.

1 Star Wars (original release or any 80's edits)
Greatest film of all time.

2 Empire Strikes Back (90's re-release special edition)
One of the greatest films of all time. Visually more spectacular than the original and faster paced - but without the original it does not exist.

3 Force Awakens (2D)
I can't believe how good this movie is!!!

4 Last Jedi (2D)
Yes it has some small issues, but overall an incredible movie and an excellent piece of this space opera.

5 Rogue One
Excellent! Hard to believe they made such an excellent prologue -without any principals to boot.

6 Return of the Jedi (any version)
I was maybe just past the age of enjoyment for this. I never understood Ewoks throwing rocks at stormtroopers.

7 Attack of the Clones.
Bad. But not as bad the the others.

8 Revenge of the Sith
Bad. Not much worse than Attack.

9 Phantom Menace.
One of the worst movies ever made.

pretty close to how'd I'd rate. I'd flip SW and ESB and also flip LJ and Rogue1

I started, then hit delete, because it's ridiculous for me personally to rank them. I love them all. Not equally, but I can't on one day say that I'm more in the mood for Revenge of the Sith than the Force Awakens. I guess Star Wars is my favorite, because it's so perfect, and if they never made a sequel, it would still be talked about to this day.

Can't rank them. I just like Star Wars movies.

I actually Like Phantom Menace, flaws and all. AOTC for me is the worst in the series. the dialog was wooden and painful to watch. there were some great moments though, particularly Obi Wans fight with Jango Fett on the platform and in space

I agree with this list as well, although I would probably move Rogue One ahead of The Last Jedi in my list but everything else looks perfect to me.
