Just thought of something, the 12in martha jones figure would make a great rose figure if the outfit is placed on another female figure. Does anyone here make a good rose head that could be used on a 12 in barbie or martha figure? shoot me an email if you make one or know of someone who can.
p.s. I head that the 12 inch line of figures have been discontinued. :o(

Have him watch Pyramids of Mars, Ark in Space, The Invasion (Troughton), Blink, ....

And so he knows the difference: let him watch Timelash. That's another 90 minutes of my life wasted.

I think ToysWhoCool would make the perfect new companion to the Doctor. He'd so kick ***....

If I were you Damien, I'd just watch Blink, Girl In The Fireplace, Father's Day or Human Nature/Family of Blood from the last couple of seasons (two & three). Despite the great stories, the old Who doesn't have the production values to do them justice.

Very true Surfsup...but the whole essence of Who has never been the production values....more than not (timelash apart..lol), it is the stories, scripts and the feel of the show which makes it....funnily enough the ones you've mentioned..adding Scool reunion and Empty child/Doctor dances are the only stories that truely feel like the classic show..reguardless of production values these stories would have been heralded as classics even if made 20-30 years ago.
Dr Who was reknowned for its innovation... not for it's special effects.

You have a point Bo8a but it's nice to have the whole package this time around, on the occassion where they've got it right (mainly in the stories we've mentioned). Coming from a non-Who fans point of view, I think the show would come across in a better light with the higher production value.

I think I've spoilt by great effects these days, which makes it harder for me to go back and appreciate the majority of older shows with low budgets.

For Classic series, i'd recommend ROBOT

For New Series i'd recommend The Empty Child / The Doctor Dances
