I remember getting really psyched for VI during the previews in the 25th Anniversary TV Special. They showed the full trailer and some behind the scenes clips.

I love this movie. It vies with II for what I consider the best, and III for a personal favorite.

To me, when the actors signed off with signatures at the end of this movie, it was really the end of the Star Trek I knew and loved the most. I like most of what's been done with the franchise since then, but none of holds the same appeal to me. Since then, it's just been entertainment...not religion.

I remember seeing this trailer in the theatre and loved it. Still gives me goosebumps.


Unfortunately, the movie itself was a bit of a disappointment in a lot of ways. It falls in the lower half of my favorite Classic Trek films list.
