    Which Dr. Who episodes remain?

I was wondering: we know how many Who episodes are out on DVD. But how many were saved (from annihilation by the BBC)?
I'd like to know what's still in store for the future?

Is there a website that clearly states what was saved, what's out on DVD, etc?

PS: if anybody replies "Who knows?", I'll be using my Robocop gun for sure...

1 and 2 most still there, season 3 and 4 not much left. 5 and 6 hit or miss. Good after that.
Sucks when there is 6 or more to a story ark with one episode missing.

How many of these are available on dvd? I would assume any of the compleat story arks would be available.
I wouldn't be suprised if there where fans out there who could reproduce the missing episodes using video clips and CGI . Like they did with clips for Forest Gump, if the scrips are available.

          Thanks!

Now all I have to do is sift through all those missing episodes I have lying in my basement, and I'll be rich!!!!

William Hartnell did 28 stories (29 if mission to the unknown stands on its own and not part of dalek masterplan) and 17 stories are complete....dvds coming up include "the Sensorites" (small link with the ood) and the "war machines".
Pat Troughton got hit worst..he did 21 stories of which 6 are complete....dvds are out with various ways of replacing missing episode such as "The Invasion" which had rather good animted missing episodes.
Jon Pertwee did 24 stories all of which exist complete in some format...however extensive restoration work is needed on some as they only exist in black and white...dvd release of Silurians is a good example of this as it had to merge the superior quality b&w episodes with a home vhs version from U.S. to get a colour copy for vhs release...this was then updated and revamped for the recent dvd.
Tom Baker did 42 stories (hmmm 42 and one of the script editors was Douglas Adams???), all exist with future dvd releases coming up being "The Invisable Enemy"(1st K-9) and "Brain of Morbius".
Peter Davidson did 20 stories...all complete and "4 to Doomsday" will be released this year.
Colin Baker did 11 stories (if Trial of a Time lord is seperated) and "Trial of a Timelord" boxset is out this year.
Sylvester McCoy did 12 (not including "The Movie") and "Battlefield " is out this year.
Paul McGann did the one (so far?)
            hope this helps

                      Hmmmm....

There's a DVD set "Lost in Time" that collects all the sniglets they still have. I highly recommend it. All sorts of goodies. (Including some episodes with Salamander; which I think would have been one of my favourite episodes....)

Salamander from "Enemy of the World"...yeah thats a good un...Pat Troughton easily plays a convincing villain...showing his acting ability.
Lost in Time is a great boxset...I still have the vhs versions of missing stories such as The hartnell Years, the Troughton years...which had some good narration links filmed at MOMI (museum of moving image) when they had a Dr Who exhibit there in the 90's

I have the Lost In Time set on DVD... Both Hart and Trought

They're ok historically, but it's hard to watch incomplete stories for me.

I'm glad I have them, though

yeah I agree , but they are good to watch ...especially the Troughton ones as his tenure got hit the worse...They frustrate me watching them as all I want to do is see more.

I just hope that either they make more Troughton cartoon episodes.
Or someone finds the originals somewhere.
