We had a good run with this idea on the horror posts, so what's everyone's favourite sci-fi inspired songs. Here's a few to start:

-Metal Gods: Judas Priest. One of the best "robots stomp humanity" tunes
-Blood Red Skies: Judas Priest. Another good human stomping song
-Electric Eye: Judas Priest. A sentient spy sattelite watching the world

These guys don't seem to like robots so much....

-Invader: Judas Priest. Repelling a 50's style alien invasion.

-Anywhere in the Galaxy: Gamma Ray. THE Warhammer 40K anthem.

Escape From The Planet Of The Ant Men- Jermaine Jackson (featuring the Jacksons)

This is such an awesome song, and has such comic book and action figure potential. I started writing a story years ago based on the song, but never finished it. I even had a school project w/ my kids during Outer Space Week that they had to listen to the song, draw a picture about what they heard and fisnish telling the story. It yielded some interesting results!
