Currently sitting at 84% fresh. I have to say the more critical reviews have me the most excited. It sounds like an Empire movie so I'm even more stoked to see this film than the last one.

Saw it last night. Great movie. Not perfect, but the not-so-great parts are more than made up for with pure Star Wars epic-ness.

I won't post any spoilers, so, uh... there are spaceships. And robots. And aliens. And lots of 70's type heads and moustaches. And silly 70's style buttons and greeblies, which fit perfectly with the oeuvre. You could watch this and then A New Hope back to back without a hiccup. In fact... no, no spoilers.

Sound like the kind of movie that an enterprising theater should show as a double bill with STAR WARS: A NEW HOPE (the undoctored version).
sigpic Oh then, what's this? Big flashy lighty thing, that's what brought me here! Big flashy lighty things have got me written all over them. Not actually. But give me time. And a crayon.

That's what I've felt was coming. What was going on before the hull door is blasted open and Vader walks through?

I've been expecting a Seven Samurai/Dirty Dozen storyline.

I bought my son ticks for tomorrow night. I'll see it when I'm on vacation, around the 27th.

                      NO SPOILERS!!!!!

Just saw it, and loved it. In fact, I'd put it third, after SW and ESB.
Won't spoil anything, but get ready to party like it's 1977.

It's fresh and exciting, but still, every frame is a love letter to the original, with some great references.
Loved all the new characters, and there's some light humor in it, just like in the original.
It's no spoiler that Tarkin is in there, and man, it's topnotch CG (which makes it kinda creepy at times).

Can't wait to see it again.

It's great. Powerful, gritty, spectacular. Full of epic SW action.

Guess I'm going on Saturday. My sister texted that they had tickets for us and would we like to go. It's actually not a good day for us, we've got a ton of errands to run for my wife's office's holiday party, but we're gonna make it happen. Hard to turn down free tickets!

I'm just happy a fellow beaner is in it, Diego Luna...I don't care if he lives or dies (don't spoil it, don't tell me, I don't know), I'm just happy he's part of the Star Wars universe...
