Ok.... So who has their tickets? My local theater's first showing is a 7pm showing in 3D and I have tickets for that one.

So far the response has been really good about it from the people that has seen it already.

Im going to see it when I get home, firstly Ill see it in 2D, then Imax 3D, and then maybe catch a 4D showing, if I can get tickets.

Nowadays, I go to the movies when the crowds die down a bit. It wasn't the case in the past, but as I get older, I'm gotten a bit grumpier...and get annoyed at big large crowds. That's why I'll never ever go to a rock concert again...those days are long gone.

But rest assure, I'll definitely go see it, maybe in a couple of weeks from now, heck, it's going to be packed well into after New Years, I may not watch it until February, lol.

A friend of mine booked out an entire theater for this, like he did for Episode 7 last year. I didn't get back to him in time for Episode 7, but this time I'm going. Should be fun to be in a theater full of friends and acquaintances! I may or may not dress up for it, and the 501st will be there.

This looks like a great installment. Funny how the studio says it does not anticipate the same kind of business since it branches off from the primary narrative in the Skywalker series. I think that might be a bit of deflective marketing low-balling projections while quietly hoping for the same reaction as TFA. I don't see how this can do less business since it leans so heavy on the visuals from the original. So nice to see Vader in this. I'm sure it's more cameo than plot point, but it's great to see him nonetheless.
