    Captain Kirk Vs. The Borg

    in the reboot continuity

Up against the Borg. A race that the original crew of the original Enterprise never faced – and never would until the Next Generation’s second season opening episode saw Q introduce the new Enterprise to this race – and made them aware of each other.

Well, now it appears that Captain Kirk, Spock, McCoy and the rest will have to find a way to deal with them a century earlier…

Kirk already dealt with the Borg in one of Shatner's novels.
Zombie? Vampire? Evil clown?!? Yes, please.

Those borg look a little too robot-like for my taste

this one? Prime Universe, not reboot. Plus we get to see how the rest of the gang deal.

I'd be happy if it was a movie but I have no interest in comics or books

They look like female Borg from the runway of Victoria Secrets, maybe Captain Kirk will make out with one?

That cover has an early 60s vibe about it, stylewise (or at least it makes me think along those lines). I don't know how to name artistic styles and movements very well, but there are elements there that make me think "throw back".

The novel was set in the Next Generation era. I found it rather enjoyable.

Kirk would talk them into blowing themselves up. End of story.

LOL...exactly. Then he'd take out the stragglers with Kirk-Fu and then make out with the organic remnants of the hottest Borg chick.
