            This is cute, but there's something about David Gerrold that sometimes rubs me a bit wrong. Like he's got a megaphone yelling "I WROTE THE TROUBLE WITH TRIBBLES" and he's been doing it for 49 years. He's got a lot of mileage out of it, for sure. Maybe I'm completely wrong, but my perception is he has sometimes shoehorned himself in on that one thing, as opposed to say, Dorothy Fontana, who contributed HUGE chunks of Trek lore, and some great episodes.

            I know Roddenberry brought him on as producer on the first season of TNG, so its not like he's just yelling it to fans who buy it, but there's just something about him.

            It probably has to do with the fact that I think "Tribbles" is horribly over-rated, and I'm still mad it won the 25th anniversary fan poll, and therefore the top-spot on the Shatner/Nimoy-hosted marathon countdown back then.
