Battle of the Planets: The Movie

Interesting Re-Edited version of the show, seems to add back some of the violence cut originally.

NICE! This was really done well!! I like the upgrade to 7-Zark-7's vocals. Boy would it not be incredible to see the entire series tweaked like this and re-mastered? That would be amazing. This is definitely a look at the potential this show has to evolve with modern times. Nice find Brian! I really like it.

      Well done!

Weren't "they" actually making a "Battle of The Planets" movie in 2002? I know that I saw CGI of the Phoenix coming out of the water (see below).

Then, there was some sort of new animated version and a Gatchaman live action movie.

Yeah, we were close to getting that but it fell apart.

The live action version came out last year, it was OK.

Some of it missed the mark, weirdly Chief Anderson was absolutely perfect.

Yeah, it looks just OK. However, I see what you mean about Chief Anderson, in this movie.

            That's a pretty cool effort.

It's amazing when you watch the original uncut Gatchaman episodes and see how much was cut & toned down for BOTP.
