Just for fun, theories on Star Wars 8 and 9

so now that Force Awakens is out on bluray and I have been able to watch a few more times, I have some theories on where they are going with it.

I had thought Snoke to be an alien but after watching a few more times and seeing how scarred and disfigured he is....kind of a mix between Vader and Palpatine, I think he is actually Ezra Bridger. he even kind of looks like him around the eyes. it also fits with where SW Rebels seems to be going.

I think Kylo Ren will slowly change his armor until it looks more like Vader, before he ultimately gets redeemed at the end of Episode 9

I still think Rey is Luke's daughter and that Luke used the force to repress her memory in order to protect her

what do you all think?

I'm with you on the Kylo Ren redemption. I thought that the first time I saw TFA.

Thought Rey was Skywalkers at first, but now I'm thinking she's either a Skywalkers or something to do with Kenobi. Maybe even the sister of Kylo Ren?????

I was thinking the same thing about Snoke being Ezra. Kylo Ren is so lame, I hope the rest of the villain cast can overcome him. He annoys me as much or more than wooden lovey Anakin.

I can't get a read on Rey or her lineage. A memory-wiped padawan seems too simple.

Think the x-wing pilot doll Rey had might be a clue? only rebel pilot we know of to survive the original trilogy is Wedge, or Luke.

I do think that Snoke's disfigurement is a way of hiding his identity, if he is a character we've seen before.

I wonder if Finn has any connection to past characters? I do hope some of the Rebels or Clone Wars characters make an appearance, not too many, but one or two returning characters would be a nice way to tie things together.

It's hard for me to say how those films will progress because you have these off-shoots like Rogue One which may introduce characters (and story points) that play a bigger role in the main Star Wars trilogy. Props to Disney. Now that they have the nostalgia film behind them, they seem to be doing some universe building that could potentially make this into another great story to unfold. Rogue One has me thinking that way.

Something from the EU that I'd like to see show up in either one,is a Clone of the Emperor. I know they more than likely won't go that route. You just figure a guy with an ego that size,he'd have some way of keeping himself going.

Looking forward to Snoke completing Kylo Ren's training. And Rey beginning hers with Luke.

That's what's claimed by an apparently leaked script for episode 8. Also goes onto say that Rey is a reincarnation of Anakin Skywalker. 'A child of the force'.
Plausible? I think so. True?......

Personally if it turns out to be true for me it's a bit of a let down after how it's been built up.
