BBC Sound Effects 50 Years Old Today

The Doctor Who Theme, Sonic Screwdriver, TARDIS and Dalek sounds were created by The BBC's Radiophonic Workshop
(created in 1958), a pioneering force in sound effects that would have been 50 years old today.

Four sound effects that made TV history OR The Green Lampshade ???

I've heard a lot of sounds like that (especially the "door opening sound") used extensively on Forbidden Planet.
