I just saw that yesterday. I hope they go with the classic series though. I loved the Moore series but it was very dark and depressing. there wasn't the fun aspect that the classic series had

Perhaps because the nostalgia factor was so big with The Force Awakens, studios are digging through their attics of licensing to see if lightening can strike twice.

How about a serious continuation where the original cast reach Earth. Not anything like the 1980 fiasco!

As much as I love the original, I think that its time has past. Resurrecting it now really wouldn't do anything except make bad comparisons between the two.

I really don't think that they will be able to recapture the sense of fun and adventure that they had for the classic series.

I'm one of the few here who is not crazy about the original...I much prefer the recent remake with James Olmos.

if they do make it, i'd love to see some of the key cast members involved such as richard hatch, dirk benedict, and herb jefferson jr. to name a few.
