    Happy Life Day!

With all this talk about Star Wars and it being Christmas, it is time to sit back and remember the Star Wars Life Day:

Here is the tv guide ad in color.
On a side not i used to sell this at every convention back in the day and would team up with Peter Mayhew to offer autographed copys before file-sharing.

I swear, somehow I could make an edit of this that is watchable. I was there for the first showing when I was six. At the time, I LOVED it. We were starving for Star Wars at that time, and this seemed perfectly normal to me. We were all accustomed to variety shows I guess. Nowadays, I watch it every November with one finger on the fast forward button. Harrison Ford really gives it his all too.

I loved this , too. And the SW gang on The Muppet Show as well. Star Wars ruled the universe back then, anything featuring them was magical. Wasn't the special the first glimpse of Boba Fett--how awesome and mysterious was that? Star Wars derailed my love of Megos.

By the time the Ewok telefilms rolled around, I was much more jaded.

I remember being very upset when the Imperials rip apart Lumpy's stuffed Bantha.

I still enjoy this show. Loved the cantina scenes ad a kid, no matter the camp factor.

I still love it but some of the segments drag it down.

It's cringe worthy. But really no worse than those live action Super Hero shows shoe horned into variety format. Which are all kinda terrible.

                  The cartoon isn't bad.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...
