    Space Showing Animated Star Trek!

They're showing 4 back to back episodes as I type this. So cool to hear voices of the stars!

    I love this show.
One of my worst memories as a kid was getting up in the morning around 4:30 or 5:00 am to watch this and during the opening scene the picture tube went...lol

      what is space?

I have the series on DVD. honestly I find it kind of hard to watch, the animation is so lame by todays standards, there are some gems in the episodes though

Not surprised, it's on Crave TV and Bellmedia owns both it and Space.

That is usually how my Sat. mornings ended up. Watching Fantastic Four and having the cable reception fuzzing in and out on what seemed to be every week. Stampede Wrestling from Calgary starting an hour early (not listed like that in the tv guide) and tuning in to see the last 5 minutes. TV was really important to me as a kid. I haven't watched the animated Trek since I was a kid and I certainly dont remember it looking so good, so must be remastered. I liked the couple of episodes I watched. Would have loved some Mego versions of aliens from the show. Of course, the best part for me are the voices from the original crew.
Not sure how different our channels are from the U.S. now? I thought Space mirrored the Sci-Fi channel?

Reminds me, I recently found all the music from the series on youtube.

Never knew it was released at some point.

I liked the music, too! One of the tunes sounds like it is going into one of the Spider-Man tunes from the old series but goes in a different direction which was pretty cool.
