Does anybody watch Star Trek Continues (fan films) ?

Been watching them this last week - have yet to see episode 5

I have to admit this is the first an only Star Trek fan series where I often forget i'm watching a fan produced show and actually get into the story like i'm watching a real Star Trek episode.

The guy that plays Kirk not only resembles Shat at some angles but he's got Shat's mannerisms down pat without going overboard and making it funny.

Also, I don't know what it is but these episodes are the only Star Trek fan films out there that actually FEEL like the old series (still haven't figured out why)

    Anybody watch these ?

I do, but I haven't watched the newest one yet. I think this is how the new movies should be. It's almost like actually watching Star Trek!

Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic

^ don't get your hopes up bigtime Sharry

Just watched the newest one (American Civil War one)

It's ok, but doesn't have the 3rd season Star Trek "feel" that the others have had.

I think that I completed the Orion one, the Mirror Mirror one was a lot of fun!

On Twitter, I think Shatner does not encourage these because the original writers etc. are not getting paid.

I wonder if other fan science-fiction will spring up.......

I watch 'em, and I generally like them.
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

I like watching them, too. I find "Continues" to be one of the best. Since the people who make the fan films do not make money off of these, I don't see why any of the original writers would need residuals, but there is a fine line between "fair use" and intellectual property.
              It's all good!

We had the cast at Wonderfest last year. I had never seen any of the episodes before then and found them amazingly good. The cast were all wonderful people to meet. Anyone unfamiliar with this show should definitely watch it. To call it fan-made is almost an insult (even though that's what it is). The quality is absolutely studio perfect in every way.

Looks like the people behind the most recent fanfilm are getting sued by CBS/Paramount.

'Axanar,' a crowdfunded, independently produced 'Star Trek' prequel, is facing a major copyright infringement lawsuit from CBS and Paramount.

How is this connected to Star Trek New Voyages? Is it the same folks behind both?

As far I've heard, the released clips of the new official Star Trek movie don't have anyone impressed, so CBS is fighting back trying to extinguish all competition.

When you have a million dollar golden turd, best to get rid of everything around you that might take a dollar out of your pocket.

Nice 50th anniversary message from the sh__bags that own Star Trek
