There's nothing really wrong with the Masters of the Universe poster. The rest are pretty terrible.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Yeah, that's a Drew Struzan... pretty funny one of his works would make a godawful poster list. I also like the New Year's Evil poster.

Totally forgot about the Barbarian Brothers until now.

Thanks for tainting my beautiful 80's memories

I'm happy that the Pride of Belgium is so prominent in this list...

I like a lot of the movies in that list... the posters, too!

Masters of the Universe is one of the best movies ever made.

It has a kick*ss poster by Drew Struzan.
It has a Kick*ss score by Bill Conti.
It has Frank Langella playing the most bad*ss cinematic villain since Darth Vader.

I was re-watching it the other night, and it occurred to me that he was one steel mask away from being Dr. Doom! Someone should just hire him for whatever the next FF reboot is and show them how Doom should be done!

Oh my goodness! The thing with Cannon, I am conditioned to perk up when I see their symbol at the start of the movie, I knew something good and interesting was coming!

With United Artists, even more so! Oh yes!

Revenge of the Ninja is a good poster, especially for VHS.

Nothing wrong with American Ninja either, aside from it being very plain.

                    {Did they do The Octagon? Now, I need to check.....}

I have a slight fascination with Cannon movies. From this list I actually liked Revenge of the Ninja quite a bit - great 80s video movie, and being mostly terrible is just part of the fun.

Here's a really cool 1 hour short on Cannon Group a friend recently posted:

To be fair, this list used a version with terrible typography. It might be the DVD release cover or something? The original poster with the proper type looks a lot nicer.

Canon group made the 80s fun, the documentary "Electric Boogaloo: The Wild, Untold Story of Cannon Films" is something you all have to see, it's really terrific.

I own a distressing amount of these films.

I gave that a watch the other day because the batteries fell out of the remote. I still owe John Crier a punch in the crotch.
